The strength of that transfer case plate is mind boggling. 🤯
Being upset about not being “class leading” is silly. They all tow enough. Just use your truck
Make sure to check the 9 grease zerk’s on the front end, many of the 2024’s and 2025’s are coming from factory with little to no grease in them. May be worthwhile to do a quick video on it too (it’ll get Tommy something to do haha), you can get to all 9 with a regular grease fitting. I have a 2024 gasser and absolutely love these new GM HD’s.
Bragging rights are not a valid reason for a hate list. Also, nobody would buy a 3/4 to tow 18000 pounds, so your hate on the towing number is ludicrous. You guys can do better!
I buy a big truck bc i need one and then one of my complains is that it big. The great thing about this world is everyone can have their own opinions
Dude, love y'all's channel, but you are WAAAY too tied up with this "Class Leading" obsession. Who cares? Too many people end up with an inferior truck for what they need just to have the "class leading horsepower" or "class leading towing rating" when that has ZERO to do with how well the truck works for you. Keep on making great videos, but these meaningless "it's not class leading" points you kept harping on really ruined the whole take, and unnecessarily downplayed how good the truck is.
That t-case "skid plate" isn't capable of protecting it from a blade of grass, much less the weight of the truck.
Lost me we he cried about how big it is. Maybe you should stick with a Colorado
The transfer skid plate looks really affordable
The truck is way to big to be a real off roader, so no "hates" required and I'm not even a GM vehicle person. It's perfects for a Ranchers personal vehicle for running the roads and towing and hauling on the ranch.
Off road trims on HD trucks never made sense to me. To each their own!
How about class leading reliability. That would be interesting to to see.
I love 4wd auto in my high country gasser. Used it today in a foot of snow. Works great. Terrible gas mileage lol.
All five of the buyers who have money for this truck will be happy!
The leather seats in both GMC and Chevy are terrible! They are constantly in our list of "hates" about our 2023 GMC Denali 1500.
9:21 the l5p is 7-8 years old (2017 launch) and gen 2 l5p is now a year old (2024).
What I like about it, it’s a cool looking truck and that You have it. What I hate about it is that You have it, I want one 😊
5:46 - "Very stable" ride translates to "no chance of 'death wobble' " which can happen on a solid axle truck. I still hear about Ford death wobble.
I have purchased every brand of truck and currently keep ~ 155 half tons and 40 HDs in my fleet. Ive circled round and round but for me and my business, Ford is the move. I have a handful of ecodiesel rams, 1 titan and 4 silverados left on halfs and 5 gmc 3500s yet to age out. Ford just seems to make the best overall truck and does the STX, XL & XLT levels where they are still comfortable for my guys and they keypad and front windows are always things they mention.
