Former Mao Zedong's secretary and deceased CCP elder Li Rui left behind personal diaries documenting the inner workings of the Communist Party, which serve as crucial records that the CCP cannot alter to rewrite history. These diaries were entrusted by Li Rui’s daughter to the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, in accordance with Li Rui’s wishes. However, Li Rui’s second wife, Zhang Yuzhen, filed a lawsuit to reclaim them, which Stanford University believes is being orchestrated by the CCP behind the scenes. The lawsuit officially went to trial on the 19th of this month.
